Mirage patio heaters incorporate an innovative double-wall structure to insulate the burner, instead of the traditional single-wall design.

This design forces the flame onto the mesh area of the burner to ensure it is always red hot – which is the only time when heat is radiated. It also helps to deflect heat down and out while preventing it from being lost through the top of the patio heater. Even in windy conditions, the flame will remain focused on the mesh ensuring optimum efficiency at all times.

While both double and single wall designs use the same amount of gas, the double-wall insulated burner provides more heat over a larger area. This means that it can be turned to a lower setting and therefore burn less gas but still provide ample heat.

Large Deep Reflector

This large, deep reflector not only reflects a greater area of heat to prevent it from being lost upwards but protects the burner in windy conditions. This prevents the risk of cross winds forcing the flame off the burner mesh making sure it remains red hot at all the times – minimising the energy needed to constantly reheat to maximum temperature.
