Calor's commitment

Calor are committed to minimising the impact of their business on the environment, and have offset the CO₂ emissions from the production and distribution of 13kg Patio Gas cylinders.

What's more , investment in telemetry technology for managing gas deliveries to bulk tanks has resulted in a reduction of 10% of the vehicle fleet, and reduced the number of kilometres travelled by 989,680 km. These savings were made against a back drop of increased gas sales.

In addition, LPG is a more environmentally sustainable alternative to other fuels and achieves the following direct savings of CO₂ emissions:

• 20% saving on road transport versus petrol
• 13% saving versus heating oil
• Up to 80% versus electricity
